Green oasis in the middle of the city - Our youth hostel, one of the most modern in Germany, with its 120 rooms, is within walking distance of the Isar river. Would you like to get to know the whole of Munich in one week? We can put together a variety of programmes for you. 

A holiday between city air and nature: that's possible in Munich. Close to the Isar river, just a few underground stops from Munich city centre, you'll find our DJH youth hostel München-Park. Our hostel, the most modern in Germany, offers five seminar and conference rooms with state-of-the-art technology. 

Experience community - So that people with walking disabilities can enjoy their stay unhindered, this youth hostel is equipped to meet the needs of wheelchair users who can move their wheelchair themselves.

Our tip: Youth hostels cannot always be correctly assigned to the terms "wheelchair accessible" and "wheelchair-friendly". Before you decide on a stay, get detailed advice from the hostel team.

Our hostel offers:

  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp, elevator, or lift.
  • There are no slopes with a gradient of more than 15%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 100 cm high.
  • There are three barrier-free rooms available.
  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The sink is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without a threshold. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • The dining room has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
