The NH Berlin Alexanderplatz hotel, completely renovated in 2018, is in a peaceful corner of the city called Friedrichshain – Berlin’s hip, artists’ district. Just next door there’s a pretty park, and down the road, a handful of coffee shops and beer gardens. The Vivantes Klinikum is just across the street and the Umweltforum as well as the Mercedes-Benz Arena can be easily reached.

- There is one unmarked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm on the first floor of the parking garage.) .
- The path from the parking garage to the reception is 20 m long.
- The ramp in the parking garage has a maximum gradient of 7 % and a total length of 0,80 m.
- Nearby there are several streetcar line.
- The path in front of the entrance is not easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 6 m .
- The building is steplessly accessible via a treshold of 3 cm.
- All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via,elevators.
- The elevator cabin measures 117 cm x 210 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
- Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
- There are no wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant/breakfast room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

- There is another identical room. The room 214 is mirror-inverted, but the double bed there has only one large mattress.
- The manoeuvring spaces in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) and left and right of the bed are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
- The bed is 60 cm high.
