The Wintergarten Berlin is the ideal place for unforgettable events. Upon entering the Wintergarten Berlin, the visitor will be drawn into another world by the magnificent backdrop of the variety theatre. Dark velvet, fine wood and the unique starry sky recreate the famous atmosphere of the glamorous 1920s. The inviting foyer and the separate restaurant offer enough space in a unique atmosphere for events of all kinds.

- There are five parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm). The surface quality of the car park is easy to walk and drive on.
- The path from the car park to the main entrance (Potsdamer Straße) is 100 m long. The path from the car park to the side entrance (elevator) is 35 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on.
- The bus stop„Lützowstr. / Potsdamer Straße“ is 100 m away. The subway station „Kurfürstenstraße“ is 200 m away.
- The building is steplessly accessible from the main entrance via a ramp.
- The ramp has a maximum gradient of 7 % and a total length of 2 m.
- Amost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via an elevator. Exceptions: Access to the balcony is only possible via steps.
- The elevator cabin measures 90 cm x 215 cm. The elevator door is 95 cm wide.
- All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The cash desk is 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
- The bar at the lobby is 115 cm high.
- The cloak check is 85 cm high.
- There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the in the restaurant on the upper floor, in the bistro on the ground floor as well as in the theater (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
Theater hall
- Seating in the hall depending on the event format.
- Show and Dine only in the theater hall. The theater hall is accessible without steps or via an elevator.
- A total of five seats (one seat per table) can be provided for wheelchair users in the upper floor area.
- Alternatively, visitors enter the theater via the entrance from the courtyard and sit in the central floor area (row 6).
Public toilet for people with disabilities (basement, left)
- The two toilets are mirror images of each other.
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet as well as in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 120 cm;
left/right of the toilet 90 cm x 100 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right/left. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left/right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible.
- The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- An alarm trigger is available.
Public toilet for people with disabilities (basement, left/right)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet as well as in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 120 cm;
right of the toilet 90 cm x 100 cm, no manoeuvring space on the left. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible.
- The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- An alarm trigger is available.

- There is no clearly visible alarm.
- There is no audio induction loop system at the counter.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
- In the restaurant at 1st floor as well as the bistro at ground floor there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
- There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room) in the restaurant at 1st floor.

- The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
- The evaluated areas that can be used by the guest are partly well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
- The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position is not announced by spoken commands. The operating controls are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
- Alternatively stairs are available. Steps are not visually rich in contrast and have a handrail on one side.
