The Count's Castle Yout Hostel Diez has 129 beds in rooms for 1, 2 and 4 people and multi-bed occupancy. All rooms are equipped with shower/toilet. There is a spacious entrance area with reception, a communication area, a café/bar, a restaurant, the castle bistro with terrace, a children's corner and the registry office in the castle. Furthermore, there are 4 common and event rooms of different sizes for 12 to 65 people as well as 1 large congress hall for up to 120 people.

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • There is one barrier-free room in the establishment. 
  • The WC in the room can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.  
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is via a 2 cm high threshold. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • There are no wheelchair compatible tables.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.

  • There is a barrier-free room in the establishment. 
  • There is a freely available socket near the bed.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available. 
  • In the dining room and bistro, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, with no lamps standing or hanging on them that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low ambient noise (e.g. seating area, separate room).
