All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end of the text.

• There are two marked parking spaces in the underground car park for people with disabilities (parking space size: 255 cm x 540 cm; distance to the elevator approx. 80 m, the doors open automatically on the way there).
• The path in front of the hotel is easy to walk and drive on.
• Access to the building is possible without thresholds or steps.
• All evaluated rooms available to the guestsare accessible at ground level or by elevator.
• The elevator cabin on the left of the three adjacent elevators is 108 cm x 202 cm (width x depth). The other two elevators are smaller.
• All passageways/doors are at least 84 cm wide.
• The reception counter is 115 cm high. There is an alternative way of communication while sitting.
• In the dining room there are wheelchair accessible tables.

Room 339

• According to the operator there are four other rooms of the same construction.
• The room door is 85 cm wide.
• The manoeuvering spaces next to the bed are 162 cm x 200 cm on the right and 120 cm x 200 cm on the left. 
• The manoeuvering spaces in the sanitary room are:
  • 107 cm x 58 cm to the right of the toilet, 53 cm x 58 cm to the left;
  • at least 140 cm x 150 cm in front of the toilet, washbasin and door.
• There are handles which can be folded up and are height-adjustable on both sides of the toilet.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower area at ground level is 150 cm x 150 cm. There is a shower chair and grab handles are provided.

Room 327

• According to the operator there are six rooms similar in construction, whereby in five rooms the toilet is accessible on the right and in two rooms the toilet is accessible on the left.
• The room door is 84 cm wide.
• The manoeuvering spaces next to the bed are 180 cm x 200 cm on the left and 106 cm x 200 cm on the right. 
• The manoeuvering spaces in the sanitary room are:
  • right next to the toilet 82 cm x 58 cm, left 85 cm x 58 cm;
  • in front of the toilet and the door 99 cm x 150 cm.
• There are handles which can be folded up and are height-adjustable on both sides of the toilet.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower area at ground level is 120 cm x 150 cm. There is a shower chair and grab handles are provided.

Public toilets for people with disabilities

• In the public toilet for people with disabilities next to the dining room (ground floor) the manoeuvering spaces are:
  • right next to the toilet 116 cm x 70 cm, left 90 cm x 70 cm;
  • in front of the toilet, the washbasin and the door at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
• There are handles which can be folded up and are height-adjustable on both sides of the toilet.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• In the public toilet for people with disabilities (1st basement floor) the manoeuvering spaces are:
  • right next to the toilet 104 cm x 70 cm, left 82 cm x 70 cm;
  • in front of the washbasin and door 129 cm x 320 cm, in front of the toilet 115 cm x 320 cm.
• There are handles which can be folded up and are height-adjustable on both sides of the toilet.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
