All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users ". Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

• There are 2 designated parking spaces for people with disabilities in the underground car park (space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the underground car park to the hotel lobby is 34 m long.
• The Spandau train station (approx. 1.8 km) and the Kirchhofstr./Ecke Triftstr. bus stop (approx. 300 m) are nearby. 
• The building is steplessly accessible.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via elevators or ramps. 
• The lift cars of the identical lifts 1-4 are 108 cm x 220 cm. 
• Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 88 cm wide.
  Exception: Exceptions: The bathroom doors in the raised rooms are 82 cm wide. 
• The reception desk is 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
• There are wheelchair accessible tables in the breakfast room, but not in La Havanita Bar. (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
• In Kooperation mit dem Seniorenheim "Katharinenhof im Uferpalais" können vielfältige Hilfsmittel auf Wunsch ausgeliehen werden.

Room 433 (double bedroom, 4st floor)

• There is a connecting door to another room available.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door and in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) at least 140 cm x 200 cm;
  left of the bed 76 cm x 200 cm; right of the bed 145 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 55 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin 130 cm x 200 cm;  
  left of the toilet 90 cm x 71 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up 
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower is accessible without thresholds.
• The manoeuvring space in the shower is 150 cm x 150 cm. 
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
• There are grab rails available in the shower.
• An alarm trigger is not available. 

Room 428 (double bedroom, 4st floor)

• There is a connecting door to another room available.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door and in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) at least 140 cm x 200 cm;
  right of the bed 76 cm x 200 cm; left of the bed 145 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 55 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin 130 cm x 200 cm;  
  right of the toilet 90 cm x 71 cm, no manoeuvring space on the left.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up

Spa and sports club 

• All rooms that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps or via lifts. 
• The lift cabin to the roof terrace is 84 cm x 140 cm. The lift door is 84 cm wide. 
• Almost all doors/passages usable and raised for the guest are at least 88 cm wide.
  Exceptions: The men's changing room door is 85 cm and the door to the event sauna is 69 cm wide.
• The spa reception counter is 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication option available while seated.
• There are flat steps with handrails to enter the pool. 
• In the bistro "Brennbar" there are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
•  Offered aids: wheelchair, rollator, sauna and shower wheelchairs, shower stool.  

Public toilet for people with disabilities (1st floor, Spa: in the swimming pool)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and in front of the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
  left of the toilet 100 cm x 72 cmand right of the toilet 80 cm x 72 cm.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The sink has limited access. 
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
• An alarm trigger is available. 

Public toilet for people with disabilities (3rd floor)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and in front of the washbasin at least 140 cm x 140 cm;
  left and right of the toilet 80 cm x 70 cm. 
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The sink has limited access. 
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
• An alarm trigger is available.
