A modern and fascinating youth hostel like out of a picture book. In the youth hostel Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler all rooms are equipped with new, modern furniture. The very modern Ahrtal Youth Hostel Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is located directly on the river Ahr and directly to the city center. From here, the romantic old town in Ahrweiler with its small alleys and historic half-timbered houses is within easy walking distance, as is the lively spa town of Bad Neuenahr. - There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 285 cm x 510 cm).
- The building is steplessly accessible.
- All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
- The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
- All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 81 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 113 cm high.
- There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the bistro (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm), but not in the dining room.
Room E1 (multi-bed room, ground floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
behind the door 106 cm x 200 cm;
in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) as well as to the left or right of the single beds 200 cm x 180 cm. - The beds are 52 cm high.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
in front of the toilet 135 cm x 190 cm;
in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 72 cm (diagonally in front of the sink is more space);
left of the toilet 72 cm x 57 cm and right of the toilet 30 cm x 57 cm. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible. The mirror is not visible while sitting.
- The shower is accessible without thresholds. The manoeuvring space is 135 cm x 190 cm. A shower seat and grab rails are available.
- An alarm trigger is available.
Room E11 (multi-bed room, ground floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
behind the door 104 cm x 200 cm;
in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) as well as to the left or right of the single beds 200 cm x 180 cm. - The beds are 52 cm high.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
in front of the toilet 185 cm x 157 cm;
in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 75 cm (diagonally in front of the sink is more space);
left of the toilet 30 cm x 57 cm and right of the toilet 75 cm x 57 cm. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.

- WC 3 is accessible from the right (130 cm x 55 cm).
- There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilets.
- The sinks have limited access.
- The mirrors can be seen while standing or sitting.

- The alarm is clearly visible in the entire building/object.
- There is no audio induction loop system.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed visually and audibly.
- In the dining room and in the bistro there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
Rooms E1 and E11 (multi-bed room)
- There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
- The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
- WiFi is offered.
