Youth Hostel Kreuth
The youth hostel Kreuth is located in the middle of the Tegernsee valley. The house has 123 beds in 26 rooms. The location is an ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Chiemsee, Munich, Garmisch or Innsbruck. Various leisure activities are possible in the nearby area. - There isn´t a parking space for people with disabilities
- The main entrance to the youth hostel is accessible via two steps. The side entrance is only accessible via 13 steps.
- The reception is located on the ground floor. The reception counter is 119 cm high. There is no equivalent communication possibility in a sitting position.
- The evaluated areas such as rooms, leisure rooms etc. can only be reached via stairs with handrails on both sides (no elevator).
- In the dining room there are wheelchair accessible tables.
- Doors and passages are 65 cm wide in the sanitary area and at least 80 cm wide in the rooms, dining room etc.
- There are no sanitary facilities designed for people with disabilities.
Room No. 118 (multi-bedroom) on the 1st floor
- The manoeuvring space in the bedroom is 92 cm x 150 cm in front of the main immobile furnishings, 135 cm x 200 cm to the right of the bed, to the left the bed stands next to the wall.
- Public sanitary facilities (shower, toilet) are available for guests in room 118. These are not designed for people with disabilities.
Room No. 119 (multi-bedroom) on the 1st floor
- The manoeuvring space in the bedroom is 106 cm x 150 cm in front of the main immobile furnishings, 156 cm x 200 cm to the left of the bed and 61 cm x 200 cm to the right.
- Public sanitary facilities (shower, toilet) are available for guests in room 119. These are not designed for people with disabilities.

- There is no clearly visually perceptible alarm.
- There is no audio induction loop.
- There is WiFi which is not available in all rooms.
- In the dining rooms there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
- A freely available electrical outlet near the bed is available in the rooms.
- The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal.

- Assistance dogs are allowed.
- The entrance area is visually contrasted to the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
- The control elements (e.g. doorknobs, light switches, emergency call button) are tactilely detectable almost everywhere.
- All evaluated areas that can be used by guests are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
- The stairways are only partially rich in contrast.
- Signage is clearly legible and visually rich in contrast.
- There is no information in Braille.

- The name and logo of the establishment are clearly recognizable from the outside at the entrance.
- Business cards/brochures with the address and telephone number of the host are not visibly displayed neither at the reception desk nor in the rooms.
