TEC Event Campus

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• The nearest bus stop "Wohlrabedamm Mitte" (bus line 139) is about 400 m from the entrance.
• There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. However, these are not marked accordingly. 
• One parking space is at least 245 cm wide and 500 cm long. The parking space is 10 m from the entrance.
• The entrance/access to the building is step-free (via a lift, max. 2 cm door threshold). 
• The platform of the lift is 86 cm wide and 200 cm deep.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests (Main Hall, Front Hall, meeting rooms, WCs and outdoor areas) are accessible without steps via the lift or ramps. Door thresholds are max. 2 cm high. 
• Ramps are at least 230 cm wide and have a maximum longitudinal incline of 12 %.
• Doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide. 
• Exterior walkways are at least 200 cm wide. 

Public WC for people with disabilities (No. 1, left)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 170 cm;
  in front of the toilet 200 cm x 150 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 90 cm x 70 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 120 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
• The sink is wheelchair compatible. 
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
• There is an alarm trigger.

Public WC for people with disabilities (No. 2, right)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 166 cm;
  in front of the toilet 200 cm x 150 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 128 cm x 70 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 92 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• Both grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible. 
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
• There is an alarm trigger.
