  • The castle can only be visited as part of a guided tour. The short tour is designed so that wheelchair users can participate. The path of the guided tour is stepless.
  • Some areas of the castle, which are visited as part of the detailed castle tour, can only be reached via steps, stairs or landing ramps and are not suitable for wheelchair users.
  • There is a general car park available.
  • The counter is 97 cm high at the lowest point.
  • Corridors / aisles (inside) are at least 150 cm wide. Outdoor corridors are at least 100 cm wide. Outdoor paths have a maximum longitudinal inclination of 20 %.
  • Doors are at least 86 cm wide.
  • The exhibits are mainly visible, perceptible and recognisable when seated.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance reservation for the guided tour is necessary. The entire route of the short tour is accessible to wheelchair users without steps.

  • There is a staircase with 2 steps to the castle chapel. The steps are 18 cm high. Instead of the stair/stairs you can use a landing ramp.

Gastronomy

  • The restaurant can be reached via a staircase with 2 steps or a landing ramp.
  • There are 18 tables that can be driven underneath.

Public WC for disabled people in the inner courtyard 

  • The inner courtyard with the WC is not freely accessible. Visitors to the restaurant or outside of guided tours should contact the staff.
  • The movement areas are: in front of the washbasin 150 cm x 150 cm; in front of the WC 150 cm x 150 cm; to the left of the WC 90 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • The WC can be accessed from the right and left.
  • There are handles on the left and right of the WC. Both grab handles can be folded up.
  • The washbasin can be accessed from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
  • The mirror can be seen while sitting.
  • There is an alarm trigger available.
