All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".
Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end of the text.
- There is no marked parking space for disabled persons in the underground car park. However, there is a parking service in front of the entrance to the hotel.
- The path in front of the entrance is easy to walk on and drive on.
- Access to the hotel and the entrance area to the Restaurant Roca is possible without thresholds or steps.
- All rooms that can be used and elevated by the guest are at ground level or accessible via lifts.
- The size of the lift cabins is (width x depth) :
Lift (ground floor - 1st floor) and 2nd floor) 136 cm x 155 cm;
Elevator (ground floor in all floors) 155 cm x 162 cm;
Tower elevator for the suites (ground floor - 5th, 6th, 15th, 22nd to 31st floor) 105 cm x 187 cm. - For the Event Terrace a ramp leads alternatively to 4 steps (8 % inclination on 15 m length, width 124 cm).
- All passageways/doors are at least 81 cm wide.
- The reception counter is 106 cm high. Another, equivalent communication possibility in a sitting position is available.
- In the Restaurant Roca, in the breakfast room and on the Event Terrace there are wheelchair accessible tables. In the Lang Bar however not.
- Aids: Arthrosis cutlery, via external service providers desired aids can be ordered in advance.
Room 615
- According to the operator, Room 715 is identical in construction.
- The room door is 88 cm wide.
- The manoeuvring space in front of essential immobile furnishings is 200 cm x 125 cm.
- The manoeuvring space to the left of the bed is 150 cm x 200 cm, to the right 140 cm x 200 cm (width x depth).
- The beds are 57 cm high and can be driven under.
- A nursing bed cannot be provided.
- Door handle and spy are mounted at seat height.
- The width of the sanitary room door is 81 cm.
- In the sanitary room the manoeuvring spaces are:
right of the toilet 94 cm x 70 cm, on the left the toilet is not accessible;
in front of the toilet and washbasin at least 138 cm x 160 cm;
in front of / behind the door 125 cm x 200 cm. - There are handles on both sides of the toilet , the right one can be folded up.
- The washbasin has limited access, the mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.
- The shower has a 1 cm high threshold and is 150 cm x 150 cm in size. A shower seat and grab rails are provided.
- There is an alarm trigger.
King Deluxe Room 1517 (15th floor)
- The manoeuvring space in front of essential, immobile furnishings is 115 cm x 200 cm.
- The manoeuvring space to the left of the bed is 110 cm x 250 cm, to the right 150 cm x 250 cm (width x depth).
- The beds are 63 cm high and can be driven under.
- A nursing bed cannot be provided.
- No sanitary room designed for people with disabilities is available.
- The toilet cannot be accessed with a wheelchair.
- The ground-level shower is 150 cm x 81 cm wide.
- Handles are not available.
Public toilet for people with disabilities (1st floor)
- The door opens automatically after you press the handle. The door width is 102 cm.
- The manoeuvring space is:
right of the toilet 93 cm x 70 cm, on the left the toilet is not accessible;
in front of the toilet, the washbasin and the door 150 cm x 150 cm. - There are grab rails on both sides of the toilet, the right one can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible, the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- There is an alarm trigger.
Public toilet is for people with disabilities (2nd floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
left to the toilet 107 cm x 70 cm, on the right the toilet is not accessible;
in front of the sink and the door 110 cm x 200 cm;
in front of the toilet 160 cm x 118 cm (width x depth). - There are grab rails on both sides of the toilet, the left one can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible, the mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.
- There is an alarm trigger.

- There is no audio induction loop.
- In the event of an audible alarm, an visibly perceptible flashing or flashing signal appears in rooms 615 and 715.
- In the lifts, an emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively, stairs are available.
Restaurant Roca (ground floor), Restaurant/breakfast room (1st floor) and Lang Bar (1st floor)
- There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting and no lamps standing or hanging on them to interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
- In the breakfast room there are seating areas with low background noises.
Room 615 (6th floor) and King Deluxe Room 1517 (15th floor)
- There is at least one freely available power outlet near the bed.
- Free WIFI access is available.
- Call waiting at room doors is not indicated by a flashing signal.

- Assistance dogs are allowed.
- The entrance is visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change in the floor covering.
- Glass doors are present at the entrance. These open automatically, they are not marked with safety markings.
- Rooms and corridors, lifts and stairways are brightly lit.
- There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/space.
- In lifts, the confirmation of an emergency call is made acoustically. The hold position is not announced by spoken commands.
- Stairs are not designed with visual or tactile rich contrasting edges . Handrails are available.
- There is no information available in Braille or prismatic font.

- A business card with the address and telephone number of the hotel is visibly displayed at the reception desk.
- The destination of the route is usually within sight, or there are signs at a visible distance.
