The Luther House in Wittenberg was the former home of Martin Luther and is now the largest Reformation museum in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The permanent exhibition at the Luther House offers an encounter with the time of the Reformation. Approximately 1000 original exhibits not only tell the life and work of the reformer Luther, but also his family life and his influence on history.

On the second weekend in June every year, the Luther Wedding festival takes place in the town center to celebrate the wedding vows of Martin Luther and Katharina von Bora.
