The predecessor of the palace stood nearby until 1985 with the address "Am Zirkus 1". The house goes back to the Great Theatre opened by Max Reinhardt. Today the palace arrived in the 21st century. His Grand Shows are state-of-the-art in their aesthetics and equipped with the very latest high-tech effects.

  • There are public parking spaces. A marked parking space for people with disabilities in the "Johannisstraße" is available and can be reserved in advance (parking space size 350 cm x 550 cm).
  • The 20 m long path from the parking spaces to the side entrance is easy to walk and drive on due to its surface quality.
  • Access to the side entrance in "Johannisstraße" is without steps or thresholds. Alternatively, the main entrance can be reached via five steps with handrails.
  • The counter of the box office can only be reached via five steps with handrails. Guests who cannot access the steps are served in the anteroom.
  • The doors and passageways in public areas are at least 90 cm wide. There are no carousel or rotary doors.
  • The width of the corridors is at least 150 cm.
  • All rooms that can be used by the guest are at ground level or can be reached by elevator.
  • The cab of the elevator at the side entrance is 160 cm x 185 cm in size. The passage width of the elevator door is 120 cm. The operating elements are arranged on a horizontal panel.
  • In the restaurant "La Diva" are wheelchair accessible tables.
  • In the hall / parquet on the left there are four wheelchair places.

Public toilet for people with disabilities on the ground floor

  • The maneuvering space is as follows:
  • left and right of the toilet 90 cm x 70 cm;
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • The toilet has handles that can be folded up on both sides.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

  • In the event of an audible alarm, no visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal appears.
  • An audio induction loop is available in the room. More info here.
  • In the elevator the emergency call is confirmed audibly, but not optically. Alternatively there are stairs.
  • In the restaurant "La Diva" there are bright and glare-free tables, at which no lamps stand or hang, which restrict the visual field.
  • Seating areas with low background noises are available.

  • Assistance dogs may be brought along.
  • The main entrance is visually contrasting to the surroundings.
  • The walkways from the side entrance to the elevator and the hall are marked with tactile floor indicators.
  • Glass doors are marked with safety markings.
  • Information for orientation is available in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • Rooms and corridors are predominantly brightly lit and glare-free.
  • On stairs, the steps are usually provided with visually contrasting edges. 
  • Tactile information about the floor is available at the beginning and end of flights of stairs. Handrails are provided.
  • Every 1st Friday of the month, an audio-descriptive introduction is offered followed by the audio-description of the show.

  • The name and logo of the company are clearly visible from the outside at the main entrance.
  • There is no menu with pictures in the restaurant, the dishes are not presented visibly.
  • An uninterrupted guidance system is available. Information is displayed with pictograms.
