Let's celebrate the automobile invented by Carl Benz in 1886! The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart brings its history and stories to life by placing them in the context of technology, day-to-day life, social history and popular culture. More than 160 vehicles of all types are the stars of the show. They range from some of the oldest automobiles ever created to legendary racing cars and concept cars.
Together with other exhibits, they form the centrepiece of the permanent exhibition that covers 16,500 square metres across 12 rooms. This incredible space can be explored on two tours that follow the "Legend" and "Collection" narratives. Experience the fascinating worlds of the major car manufacturers and follow in the footsteps of automotive legends. Take a look at the history of car production and all of the exciting developments that got us where we are today. Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday: 9 am–6 pm
