Bad Sobernheim is best known for its use of Felke treatments inspired by Pastor Felke. Three spa and wellness centres offer this active holistic therapy for joint pain, obesity, high blood pressure, allergies and burnout. The treatment is based on the elements of light, air, water and loam (healing earth). Exercise and therapeutic fasting or a diet of wholefoods are combined to create a powerful therapy. The healing earth is also used in special treatments, such as loam wraps and baths and rasul baths, which help neutralise acid, boost the circulation and detoxify the body.
