Business expectations initially fell from 74 in the first quarter of 2022 to 55 in the fourth quarter of 2022. However, they then increase again to 75 in the first quarter of 2023.

The Incoming Business Climate combines the balance of the current business situation and the future business expectations of international experts for incoming tourism to Germany, value range +100 to -100. The Incoming Business Climate was still 10 in the first quarter of 2022 and gradually increased from then on to 46 in the first quarter of 2023.

In the first quarter of 2022, the current business situation was still -40, then increased to 25 in the fourth quarter of 2022, and then fell again slightly to 20 in the first quarter of 2023.
