Day 1
Marthe and her little brother began their journey by taking the Kiel ferry at 14:00 from Oslo. They enjoyed a wonderful suite with a view of the sea on the ferry. In addition to exploring the boat's areas, they enjoyed the spa's sauna and jacuzzi. They dined at an a la carte restaurant in the evening.
Day 2
A spectacular ocean view greeted them as they ate breakfast in the morning. Arriving in Kiel around noon. From the port, you can walk to the train station. They then traveled to Neubrandenburg after purchasing tickets and buying lunch. As they ate their vegetarian lunch, they admired the green, beautiful nature passing by their window. They went straight to their accommodation after arriving in the afternoon. Green fields and nature surround the hotel, which is located by a beautiful lake. A run around the lake followed by dinner at the hotel restaurant rounded out their day after a long day of traveling.
Day 3
After breakfast the next day, the hotel provided bamboo bicycles for rent so they could continue exploring. Their route took them around Lake Tollensesee, and then they cycled into Neubrandenburg city for lunch. In this café, they found delicious vegan food and homemade ice tea. Over the course of the bicycle trip, fifty kilometers were covered in five hours. Having spent a long day cycling, they relaxed at the hotel and enjoyed a delicious dinner.
Day 4
The next morning, they went for a run before boarding the train for Waren. It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach their next destination by train. Afterwards, they checked in at their new accommodation after a quick lunch by the wharf. As soon as they arrived, they went for a walk around the area's lakes and further into the national park where they went hiking in beautiful German nature.
Day 5
The day began with a paddle trip on Lake Müritz, followed by a visit to the Müritzeum. In the Müritz National Park, near Lake Müritz, is the Müritzeum visitor center and nature discovery center. In the visitor center, science-based approaches to nature and regional history are incorporated into an enjoyable and interactive experience. In the exhibition and aquarium area, the flora and fauna of the Mecklenburg Lake District are presented. After lunch, they walked into town and explored Waren, followed by dinner and a stroll through the city in the evening.
Day 6
They rented bicycles to go for one last trip while awaiting the train back to Kiel. They ate their own lunch on the train, where the rest of the day was spent. After arriving in Kiel, they visited the Old Botanical Garden on the Fjord, also known as the Alter Botanical Garden. Over 280 species of herbaceous flora grow in the garden, as well as an interesting collection of trees, two ponds, lawns, and perennial flower beds. After exploring the Kiel Botanical Garden, they had dinner at a local restaurant before boarding the ferry back to Oslo.
